Global sourcing. Local healthcare intelligence. One coordinated procurement process.
CMGL helps healthcare facilities identify suitable suppliers, compare procurement options, manage sourcing requirements and coordinate delivery — giving hospitals, clinics, laboratories and healthcare organisations a more efficient way to procure medical products and equipment.

Meet Our Founder & Director
Clarence Chiwenda
Founder & Director — Carter Meridian Global Logistics (Pvt) Ltd.
Clarence Chiwenda founded Carter Meridian Global Logistics with one clear conviction: the quality of a patient’s diagnosis should never depend on the reliability of the logistics that support it.
Before establishing CMGL, Clarence worked as a Laboratory Assistant at the National Blood Service Zimbabwe (NBSZ), one of the country’s most critical healthcare institutions.
There he worked directly with blood products, laboratory specimens, and the cold-chain systems that keep them viable. He witnessed firsthand the consequences of logistics failures — rejected samples, delayed diagnoses, and compromised patient care.
That experience became the foundation of CMGL.
CMGL was established to help healthcare organisations strengthen the journey between supplier, laboratory, clinic, hospital and patient. CMGL supports healthcare organisations with medical logistics, cold-chain coordination, healthcare procurement consultancy, supplier evaluation and end-to-end project-management support.
The company works with hospitals, clinics, laboratories, pharmacies, NGOs, healthcare investors and suppliers to help ensure that medical products, equipment and consumables are suitable, properly documented, reliably delivered and supported after arrival.
While maintaining its operational base in Zimbabwe, CMGL also develops international procurement relationships and strategic sourcing networks to support healthcare requirements in Zimbabwe and across Africa.
With procurement coordination and consultancy from Doha, Qatar, Clarence has built an organisation that brings international supply-chain standards to Zimbabwe’s private healthcare sector — at prices that make sense for local clinics, laboratories, and pharmacies.
His vision is to build CMGL into a trusted healthcare procurement, medical logistics, cold-chain and project-delivery partner across africa that enables healthcare professionals to focus on what matters most: patient care.
"The integrity of every patient's diagnosis must never be compromised by the distance between the clinic and the laboratory.
